Blessed–or cursed–with a connection to the souls of others, Sloan Jordan can see the best in people… and the worst. For twenty-seven years, she's kept her ability a secret, but eleven young women have been murdered in the mountains of North Carolina, and Sloan may be the only hope of finding their killer.
She has just agreed to help Detective Nathan McNamara with the case, when a stranger—who is as alluring as he is terrifying—shows up at her doorstep with a dark past and another puzzling mystery: she can't see his soul at all.
Now Sloan is on the hunt for a deadly psychopath with two irresistible men. One of them would die for her, and the other would kill to keep her safe.
FOUR BOUNDLESS STARS
This book has been on my TBR for a while now, and I am glad I finally took the plunge. It has everything I love in an Urban Fantasy. It is a terrific mix of Paranormal, mystery, romance, and thriller all in one. Then there are the two epic men in Sloan’s life Nathan McNamara who is beyond yummy and the very dangerous and mysterious stranger that comes into her life.
The only downside to this story and the only reason I am not giving it five stars is that it fell flat with a fade to black. With the epic connection, Hyder described we deserved an epic love scene, not a fade to black.
I am rating The Soul Summoner as 4.5 Boundless Stars, and I can ‘t wait to see what the next book brings.
