BLURB
I'm bound to a demon. For my entire life, I avoided magic at all costs. Now, I'm responsible for a demon who wields magic more powerful than the toughest mage or sorcerer. Demons are evil. That's what my textbooks say. That's what I see. He's ruthless, he's temperamental, he's cold. But he protects me without fail. I wonder if he's hiding a heart behind his hostility. My demon is a monster. Whether he's heartless or not, my contract with him is illegal and beyond dangerous. Together, we must find a way to return him to his own world before anyone discovers our secret. If that wasn't bad enough, I've come to realize something else: My demon isn't the only monster I should be worried about.
FIVE BOUNDLESS STARS
Book 2 was just as fantastic as book 1. It picks up where Book 1, Taming Demons for Beginners leaves off, so you need to read that one first.
Slaying Monsters for the Feeble is fast-paced, and we get introduced to some extraordinary new characters. Along the way, Robin and Zyla's relationship evolves as they help each other through their new reality. There is no sexy time, but there is tension on Robins part, which is hilarious and awkward because I honestly think Zylas is clueless.
LOL
I have devoured both of these books in a matter of hours, am impatient for book 3. I am going to start Three Mages and a Margarita because it is in the same world, and I am utterly impressed with Annette Marie and her writing ability. I am a fan.
I am rating this one 5 Boundless stars, it was fun, exciting, full of action and adventure, and I can't wait for more!
