FOUR BOUNDLESS STARS
I voluntarily received a copy of Loved in Space, and this is my honest review.
Overall, I am giving this collection 4 Boundless Stars. Most of the novellas start in the middle of a series, which I am not a fan because I like having the entire backstory. Some I could jump right into where others I felt lost. However, overall, I enjoyed the whole collection.
Kissed by the Alien Mercenary: Warriors of the Lathar by Mina Carter. I felt lost since this book is in the middle of a series. However, I am interested in starting at the beginning. I am giving this on 3 Boundless stars.
Mate Abduction by Eve Langlais: This was so much fun. Not sure why I stopped reading this series.
I loved the characters and the world.
The story was fun, sexy, and sweet.
I am giving this on 5 Boundless Stars.
KRASH: Dakonian Alien Mail Order Brides by Cara Bristol. I have read all the books in the Dakonian series, and I usually really like them this one, not as much as the others. The story didn't feel fresh. I did like aspects of it, and towards the end, the emotions came out. But up unit, then it felt the same as the others with just a bit of twist on it. I am giving this one 3 Boundless stars.
Chance of a Lifetime by Susan Hayes. This was a really good story.
However, I felt like I was missing way too much of the backstory to enjoy it truly. 3 Boundless Stars
Betraying Ko'ran by J Thompson. This felt the introduction to a brand-new series. One, I would be totally into starting. I have never read this author before, but I enjoyed the story. The only issue I had was the repeating of the same scenes from the different POV. It's redundant and repetitive—a real pet peeve of mine. I am giving this on 4 Boundless Stars.
Ashland 297 by Donna McDonald Even though this was book 7 in the series, I didn't feel lost at all. This is a series I could easily jump into and one I had fun with. I would be interested in reading more from this author in the future. 4 Boundless Stars.
