I've said it before, but sometimes I'm a bad person. I cheated on my twelfth grade math final, I've run countless yellow lights, and I gossip about how hot my kickass best friends are. (Good thing my job as a guild bartender doesn't require moral perfection.)
But there's bad, and then there's bad. And I'm not sure which applies to a certain dark druid/wanted criminal/reluctant friend of mine. His transgressions include black-magic dealings, kidnapping, and murder, and he's about to add "revenge-fueled killing spree" to his resume—if I don't stop him.
Should I stop him?
He and his nemesis are gearing up to tear each other apart, rogues and vultures are converging with their sights on the spoils, and the guilds that would normally stomp them into the ground are under attack. We're on the brink of an all-out criminal turf war, and my time to decide is almost up.
Who's the real bad guy ... and do I dare stand in his way?
FIVE BOUNDLESS STARS
To start, you need to read this series in order, even better for maximum enjoyment, read it in the Multiverse order, which includes The Guild Codex: Demonized series. Do not attempt to read these out of order; you honestly will be lost and will not enjoy the books as much.
In Druid Vices and a Vodka, we have the return of Zak, it hugely affects Tori, and she puts herself on the line for him. I will be honest; I wanted a romance between her and Zak. By the end, I had mixed feelings because I still think he is an excellent character who needs more exploration and could be a great love interest for Tori. Then there is Ezra, oh man, I love Ezra! We finally see some movement with Tori and Ezra’s relationship and OMG it is so good.
Not enough but still so good.
This book was beyond fantastic. So many HUGE and I do mean HUGE things happen to Tori, Aaron, Kai, and Ezra. It just leaves you gobsmacked and panting for more. I am rating it 5 Boundless stars, and I CAN NOT wait for the next one. I want it now!
