This is how it all started, Robert Bradford set the tone for all the men in his family to come and he did it the only way that he knew how, but driving Elizabeth crazy and making sure that she would never forget how much he loved her. FIVE BOUNDLESS STARS

I didn't understand how a Regency Romance was going to fit in the middle of a contemporary romance series and was reluctant to read/listen to it. I am not usually a fan of Regency, although I have only read a few. I was pleasantly surprised by Mathewson rendition of a Regency romance. Even though the time period was "The Ton" I found Truce to have a contemporary modern flair still. Which I loved. In Truce, Robert and Elizabeth have hated each other since childhood. After they have a rather steamy encounter which goes totally against the time-period but works with a modern contemporary romance, they go back to their old hatred. Fate is driving them together while everyone else wants them apart. This story was steamy and yummy. Don't go into it thinking it will be a stuffy Regency because it isn't. I am rating Truce: The Historic Neighbor from Hell 5 Boundless Stars.
