I read and listen to a lot of books, and I average about 150 a year. So unless it stands out to me, I don't remember details years later. This book revolves around Cannon who was introduced in the Diry Billionaire series. He is Creighton's BFF. I listened to the Dirty Billionaire series back in 2017 and didn't remember any of it. I only know Cannon was Creighton's BFF because of snippets from this story. This was driving me bonkers because what happens between Creighton and Cannon is referred to a lot and I don't remember it. This bothered me so much that I spent most of the audiobook first trying to remember which book Creighton was from then trying to remember what happened. It was extremely distracting. I will note that I went back and read my review on Dirty Together, which said:

"The one issue I had with Dirty Together was the "shocking" twist with Crey's father. It just felt forced and weird. But we will see if she does anything with it."

I guess March finally did something with it. I wish there hadn't been so much of a lag time between books. I think I would have appreciated this one more if I was fresh off Dirty Billionaire. I did see the there is a reading order on March's website: https://meghanmarch.com/reading-order/ This may be my next reading/audiobook project.

Overall, this is a sexy ready in March's style, which I love. I am curious to see what happens next. I am giving Black Sheep 3.5 Boundless Stars.
