Tensions between the fae and humans are coming to a head. And when coyote shapeshifter Mercy and her Alpha werewolf mate, Adam, are called upon to stop a rampaging troll, they find themselves with something that could be used to make the fae back down and forestall out-and-out war: a human child stolen long ago by the fae.Defying the most powerful werewolf in the country, the humans, and the fae, Mercy, Adam, and their pack choose to protect the boy no matter what the cost. But who will protect them from a boy who is fire touched? FIVE BOUNDLESS STARS

My second foray into Fire Touched had me remembering right from the start how much I enjoyed this audiobook. This one brings on the next level of danger and excitement to the pack, starting with a Troll loose on the cable bridge. Things come to a head with the werewolf’s and the Fae in a huge way in Fire Touched, and it is a real cornerstone for all of the later books. I am glad I went back and re-listened because I forgot much and I needed the refresher it makes events that happen in the following books make more sense. I am giving Fire Touched 5 Boundless Star it is another excellent addition.
