Amber wakes up after a crash landing to find herself on a hostile planet with a "man" beside her that "shifts" into into a demon warrior whilst protecting her against the wild creatures they run into.

She can't remember him, nor can she remember the end of Earth and how she came to be in a new solar system with an alien who claims they are lovers. Even though she is wildly attracted to him, something feels amiss, especially his recount of how they came to be together after Earth's ending, and why they can't immediately return to his home planet where he rules as the Monarch's son.

As their adventure continues, Amber is hurtled into worlds that both stun and defy her imagination. Her continued flashbacks of another lover, the mystery surrounding her departure from Earth and how she came to be the coveted spouse and Princess on his planet called Throm are slowly revealed to her along with the terrifying choices she has made to survive after Earth ended. FIVE BOUNDLESS STARS

I voluntarily received a copy of this novel in exchange for a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. It took me a bit to get really into the story, but once I did, I didn’t want to put it down. It starts with our heroine Amber Jacobs stranded in a jungle with a very large attractive man and no memory. I was getting frustrated with the story at first because she was gaining bits pieces of memory along with feelings back but no real content and no back story. Nothing was making much sense to either Amber or me. That’s why I had trouble getting into it at first. Then she gets her memory back, and the story unfolds. Jackson’s world and character building are beyond phenomenal. I was so invested in Amber and her relationship with Wrexel. I needed to know how she and Wrexel wound up in the Jungle with her memory gone. What lead Amber to the choices she made that seemed so out of character. This story is a mix of science fiction, high fantasy, and romance all rolled into one. There is politics dealings, a crazed monarch, magic, theology, Love, jealous, passion, danger, drama. This story has it all. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series, Forbidden. I am rating Amnesia (The Adrsta Chronicles Book 1) 5 Boundless Stars, I loved it, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
