I'm getting a little tired of completing my goals, only to have the bar raised too substantially for me to transition at a productive pace...
I started off as a sad little ghost with an impossible crush on four really hot, Gothic guys with some attitude problems. Now I'm The Apocalypse, they're the Four Horsemen, and Lucifer is my fucked up daddy. Now my additional goals look like this?
Goal #9: Make a deal with the Devil without getting cheated, manipulated, or tricked.
Goal #10: Make my boys love me and take over the world...okay...so maybe just that first part. That second part sounds like it could take too much ambition, and I just don't have the drive for that.
Goal #11: Make cookies.
Goal #12: Call dibs on my favorite color.
Goal #13: Find out if my siblings or my father killed me and my boys... 3.5 (FOUR) BOUNDLESS STARS
In book 3 of the series I still loved Paca yet as more and more of the mystery of who she is, is revealed, it just gets complicated. The whole balance thing with evil and good qualities and heaven and hell. I was confused and just wanted the action, comedy, and romance back that was in the first two books. Paca is supposed to be evil, yet I don’t get that at all “selfishly selfless” yes but not evil. I don’t even feel like her men are evil. It’s a weird predicament I find myself in, because how can evil beings love? I don’t think they could, and Paca loves. I think I am going to take a break for a bit before I complete the series. I am just confused with the place we are at. My heart hurts for Paca most of the time since all she wants is to be loved. “My heart is hurting and happy at the same time. I didn’t even understand how badly I needed at least one of them to love back.” I am giving Two Kingdoms 3.5 stars, and it confused me yet still entertained me for the most part.
