There’s nothing more darkly satisfying than time spent in the Hollows—New York Times bestseller Kim Harrison’s alternate urban fantasy Cincinnati where vampires, pixies, and werewolves roam free. Harrison takes us back in A Perfect Blood, as former bounty hunter witch-turned-reluctant daywalking demon Rachel Morgan investigates a series of ritual murders, only to discover to her horror that whomever—or whatever—is responsible is actually seeking her blood. Rachel’s sexy, supernatural adventures have consistently landed atop bestseller lists from coast-to-coast, and A Perfect Blood is no exception—another supremely satisfying excursion to a deliciously eerie fantasy realm that’s certain to delight Kim Harrison’s voracious army of fans…not to mention Laurell K. Hamilton, Charlaine Harris, Jim Butcher, Kelley Armstrong, Patricia Briggs, and Stephanie Meyers aficionados, and any reader who craves a walk on the wild, dark side. FIVE BOUNDLESS STARS

Rachel has come such a long way from her beginning in book one, and throughout it all, this series has never lost my interest. Even though I read this story before, it has been so long ago listening to the audiobook now it is almost like experiencing an entirely new story. I do remember certain elements but not a lot. A Perfect Blood finds Rachel in a strange place in her life. She is at a point where she can make a choice. Start fresh without magic and the Demons or become a Demon on her terms. Of course, it wouldn’t be Rachel if she didn’t bumble it up 1000 times along the way. Another excellent audiobook, that was fastpaced and expertly narrated. I know where the series will end up, but I love seeing the starts and end of relationships and looking at it from a knowing perspective.
