Despite dating one vampire and living with another, Rachel Morgan has stayed ahead of trouble until now. A serial killer stalks the Hollows, claims victims across society, and ignites a vicious Inderland gang war. Rachel hides an ancient artifact that could stop the killer or start a battle to the death among supernatural races of Cincinnati. Every action has its price. When the vampire master Piscary is set free and the demonic Algaliarept dares to walk openly under the sun, even Rachel Morgan can't hide forever. FIVE BOUNDLESS STARS
Fair warning, be prepared for some devastation. Have some tissue handy because you are going to cry and your heart will break. The first time I read this back in 2012 I bawled, I’m talking big wracking sobs. I don’t think I recovered from the ending of this book for weeks and weeks. Hell years later and I listen to it in audio format, I knew what was coming, and I still cried. Not the sobbing mess crying, but there were tears. I didn’t remember the level of emotion Harrison’s writing brought out in me. Once again the Narration is fabulous, and the book blows away all expectations. I loved it so of course, it gets 5 Boundless Stars.
