Here’s to Now is a very complicated, messy romance. Gaige aka the quiet one. Was quite a mystery, in the beginning, he didn’t say much throughout the last two books. So you didn’t get to know him. There are so many things that he carries on his shoulders, that he shouldn’t. Haley is kind of like his rock that he never knew he needed. She’s a spitfire, she’s fun, and she loves the crap out of him. But it takes a while for them to confront those feelings for each other. So that leads to a roller coaster of doubt and secrets. Gaige has a lot of secrets. Which, I’m not going to put them on display in this review. You’ll have to read it yourself. I enjoyed this story; I didn’t emotionally connect with these two. But they have so much heart. It’s like you never know if you can genuinely love someone, tell you chip away at those pieces of yourself. Get right into the middle of and see how much your heart deserves. That’s both of them. Hunter is excellent at character building and letting the reader get to know these characters. You can tell that as an author, she loves them. Overall, I have to give this Four Boundless Stars.
