Hazel Knight is a Promised One—a witch born with unique magic abilities. As a result, her future is laid out for her. She is to join the Circle and spend the rest of her life meditating, chanting and devoting her healing magic to bolster her fellow witches. It’s a commitment Hazel is proud to make, and she’s just one internship away from fulfilling her destiny.

But just because Hazel’s committed to her destiny doesn’t mean she can't have some fun before she takes the final step. For the past year, she’s enjoyed many clandestine nights with a man who has given her a lifetime of memories to take with her. A mysterious lover whose name she’s never asked, whose face she’s never fully seen.

Yet when her internship begins, she has no trouble recognizing Healer Duke Hart, the exquisitely sexy witch whom her mother has handpicked to serve as her mentor. Hazel only meant to have a little fun before she devoted herself to a life of servitude, but Duke is bound and determined to prove that nothing, not even destiny, is written in stone. FIVE BOUNDLESS STARS

Hazel has a destiny she must follow, starting tomorrow. For one last night, like many nights before, she spends it with her mystery man. A man she has been with many times in the human village, but neither knows the identity of the other. The day she starts on the path to her destiny of being The Promised One, she gets thrown a man-sized curveball. Her selected mentor is not just anyone. It's her mystery man, now known to her as Healer Duke Hart. She wanted to know who her mystery man was, but this is not how she expected to find out. Ok....so I love witches. I love romance. I love drama. So what I'm saying is I loved this book. It was hot and steamy at times, while at times it was like getting sucked into a magical world of drama, danger, and romance. Hazel and Duke are just a very hot duo. The connection between them jumps off the page. Hazel, is a character that you can love. She is young and has such a big future planned for her, but along the way she begins to question her "Destiny." This story has it all. It was action-packed, had romance and drama, and was written great. The characters were colorful and fun to follow. Overall, this was a great story start to finish. I hope to read more from White Willow.
