1. What do you love most about writing?
Learning and using the story to toy around with ideas and characters.
2. What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Climbing Mount Fuji.
3. If you could time travel, where would you go?
Ancient Athens.
4. Would you rather live for a week in the past or the future?
Future – a week is plenty long enough to memorize everything in the Sports Almanac.
5. What is one book that you’ve read, that really changed your life?
One L, which is part of why I went to law school.
6. What’s the one food you could never bring yourself to eat?
The monkey brains from Temple of Doom.
7. What is the scariest movie you’ve ever seen?
The siren part of V/H/S.
8. Who’s your celebrity crush?
Amanda Crew (Monica from Silicon Valley).
9. What do most people think about you that is absolutely not true?
I am not in fact related to Alan Tudyk.
10. Which movie or book do you think is ridiculously overrated?
Gravity’s Rainbow.
11. What’s something that you love to do during the Summer?
In Texas it was staying indoors with the air conditioning on. Now that I’m in California it’s going outside on walks in the wonderful weather.
12. What book do you wish would be turned into a movie?
Mine!
13. Could you survive in the wilderness for a month?
I’d be dead in two days.
14. If you were challenged to a duel, what weapons would you choose?
Foam swords. Shouldn’t let me pick the weapon if you’re trying to kill me!
15. Coffee or Tea?
LOTS of coffee.
16. Whats your favorite TV show of all time?
Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
17. What three words best describe you?
Unpronounceable last name.
18. What’s your favorite number? Why?
1 – because I’m number one.
19. What’s the most challenging thing about being an author?
Trying to decide which of the many things you want to write that you’ll actually finish in your life time.
20. Where is the most beautiful place near where you live?
I’m in Ventura County and I think all the beautiful stuff burned down.
