And now the brothers of the Black Dagger Brotherhood will be tested both at home and on the battlefield. FOUR BOUNDLESS STARS
I am so happy that Sola and Assail where given a book. The way they left things, no way could that have been all with their story. Well of course not, Ward wouldn’t do that to us. The best and most unusual character out of this book turned out to be Sola’s Grandmother. She was hilarious. I could visualize a little old woman whipping a houseful of enormous vampire men into shape and her being none the wiser. I hope this won’t be the last time we are graced with her in this world. The secondary story revolved around V and Jane. I knew this was coming. They’ve been having issues, and they needed a kick to get their relationship back on track. Ward gave them that kick. The Thief was a great addition to the BDB world, and I am looking forward to seeing what she does with Murhder. I am hoping that is the next story. But we will see. Ward has given herself so many options for the next book and has kept this long-running series fresh, exciting and full of surprises.
