Being pregnant with Ravager babies isn't easy. You have to deal with things like having not one but two overprotective baby daddies breathing down your neck all the time. Cravings for disgusting food combinations. And weird alien side effects, like randomly falling through the floor and into another dimension called the Other Side. The Other Side is a place of darkness and void. It's the flip side of this reality where only the most wicked of the Ravagers reside. According to my husband, Beast, it corrupts. According to my husband, Striker, learning to exist there is necessary for survival. If it were my choice I'd avoid the place entirely... Because I know when I fall into the Other Side there are monsters in that dark. And when I look at the monsters they look back at me. And if I listen closely I can hear them roaring... And when they're roaring I swear it sounds like they're saying mine.

4.5 (FIVE) BOUNDLESS STARS

This story picks up right where book three leaves off, Ameia is traveling with her two overbearing mates, Beast and Striker to their homeworld. On the way, their ship is intercepted, and Ameia is kidnapped by another Ravager claiming her as his. Three mates? She didn’t want two!

I liked Warrick, his a complete contradiction a monster on the outside but a gentle teddy bear on the inside. Of course, it took time for Ameia to discover this. But once she did, she fell for him. Then there was Vis, I loved him, and I hope we learn more about him in the future and she can truly call him.

Ameia started to grow more of a backbone in this story and starts to come into her own. She is still very much the damsel in distress, but it didn’t grate on me as much as it did in book 2.

The vividly detailed writing that brought forth the inky black world was fantastic. I am enjoying this story and these characters.

I am giving The Other Side (The Ravager Chronicles #3) 4.5 Boundless Stars.
