He’s arrogant.Loud.Rude.And to make matters worse, he looks good doing it—too good.Joey DeLuca should have been nothing but a maddening memory, a blip on my radar during my three month sabbatical in my small hometown while I get back on my feet. My time back home was supposed to be simple. Easy. Fast. But he’s everywhere I go, invading my thoughts, and stealing my attention. Is it possible to hate the same person I can’t get enough of?Is there really an exception to every rule? FOUR BOUNDLESS STARS

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Exception is a beautiful love story, set in a small town. I loved Kennedy and Joey. I felt that they were both at that moment in their lives. They were at a crossroads. Not knowing, what they wanted. That is of course till they pretty much ran into each other. Their connection was undeniable, and I loved how they would just bicker with each other. Then they would make up. It was amusing to read. This story does have the fade to black. Which, I usually don’t mind. But I did want to feel that powerful connection. There’s the passion, and then it just felt like something was missing. I wanted it all! Dietz does touch on tough subjects. She does so in a way that it’s entirely respectable and gives you that deeper meaning into the characters. I highly enjoyed this, and there are so many great things about this romance. Overall, Four Boundless Stars.
