Eva was just an everyday girl, working as a waitress, hanging out with her friends, and falling in love. But her world changed overnight when a powerful virus spread throughout the country, transforming it into a wasteland of deadly disease and crazed zombies. With Australia cut off from the rest of the world and rampant with terror and chaos, Eva and her friends must do whatever they can to survive.
Set in Australia, horror, friendship and true love collide to make this tale of survival stand out from the rest.
The Eva Series will make you smile, scream, cry and fist-pump the air as you go on a wild and dangerous ride with Eva and her friends. And it all starts here, as they rise. THREE BOUNDLESS STARS
As They Rise is a good start to new series. Eva and friends find themselves suddenly in a Zombie Apocalypse. Their only hope for survival is to get to a faraway place. They have their fair share of Zombie battles and close calls. There were some things in this story, that I believed could have been left out. I also feel that it could have been longer. It almost felt like it was just the beginning. That was just getting a glimpse before the real story begins. Because of how short it was, I didn’t really connect with any of the characters on an emotional level. So kind of felt as though, I was just watching them. The intense moments didn’t feel as intense as they could have been. Overall, I give this Three Boundless Stars, it was a good start.
