5 Questions with: Gena Showalter

1. Out of all your Heroine's you've written, do you personally relate to any of them? and Why?
GS: I do relate to many of them. They are flawed, and they make mistakes. They love and they want to be loved. They fight for what they believe is right, and when they get knocked down, they do whatever it takes to stand back up.
2. If you had to choose a demon to possess you, which would it be?
GS: I hate demons. Like, I hate hate hate hate HATE demons. They are pure evil, and I want nothing to do with them ever. That may be might be kinda sorta one of the reasons I like writing about the Lords nowadays. I get to help them overcome evil with love.
3. Who is your favorite Lord of the Underworld?
GS: I’m really digging on Hades right now. He is so very bad, and yet there are so many layers to him. He’s flawed, and he’s powerful, but he will always put his family first. It's going to take a special woman to bring him to his knees. Whoever she is -- I know who she is! -- I think she'll have a lot of fun peeling back his layers to see why he is like he is.

4. On Halloween do you go all out or do you do the minimum?
GS: I don’t even do the minimum. I do absolutely nothing
5. Candy Corn: Yay or Nay?
GS: Never ever never ever NEVER!
