I have a history of picking the wrong guy. Gay? Player? Momma’s boy? Check, check and check. Now I can’t stop fantasizing about one of the customers at the coffee shop I work at between classes. It’s just a harmless crush, right? It’s not like I ever see this guy outside of the coffee shop. It’s not like I’m going to see him while attempting to get birth control at the student clinic. While wearing a paper gown. While sitting on an exam table. Because he’s the doctor. Shoot. Me. But what if, for once, the man I’ve had the dirtiest, most scandalous fantasies about turned out to be everything but wrong?

FOUR BOUNDLESS STARS

No going to lie, the whole getting off during the gyno appointment was just all kinds of wrong and creepy! I don’t care how hot he is. I have a hot DR too, I don’t get off when he is down there conducting business, I would DIE of mortification! But that’s just me. Luke is so much older than Sophie, he is 36 to her 21. That’s 15 years and it showed in his high-handedness with her. I thought at first it was because he was a DOM and that was the direction the story was going to take. No, he is alpha and likes control but she is so young and naïve, that Luke quickly steps into the role as her caretaker/boyfriend. My first marriage was to a man 10 years older, and speaking from personal experience, this gets old quickly. Other than the awkward gyno visit, that just left me going ewwww. The rest of the story was scorching when it came to Sophie and Luke. It wasn’t a big surprise where they wound up, and I hope we see glimpses of their life in future books in the series. This is the first book I have read or listened to by Jana Aston and I really enjoyed it. Once again Mallon was brilliant and I enjoyed her narration. A great narrator will make or break an audiobook. Mallon definitely makes this one!
