The stunning conclusion to the New York Times Bestseller. These are the unbreakable rules in the game. Stay collected. Compartmentalize. Think your next move through. Never let your heart dictate your tactics. The heart is impulsive. The heart makes bad decisions. The heart doesn’t see the long game. Because the heart may have decided to get Adam back, but when the endgame comes, the heart’s going to be the first thing to break.
FOUR BOUNDLESS STARS
I will admit I was disappointed that this wasn’t the same format as book one. I loved the Duet in book one. Even with that, the narration was still superb. Sebastian and Elena are both phenomenal narrators.
We pick up in book 2 shortly after book on ends and Diana has to devise a way to win Adam back. A lot of the story is spent in Diana’s head. This was good and insightful since so much of book one was in Adam’s. Yet if found her wishy washy back and forth attitude tiresome. She only wants Adam one way, that’s not how love works. It was extremely frustrating.
This was a book of two people finding their true selves and discovering love again through domination and submission. It really isn’t a story for the faint of heart. It isn’t the darkest I’ve read, however, it isn’t really a happy story either. It’s painfully at times, and frustrating at others. Yet it is beautiful and soulful and I am glad I listened to it. It makes me appreciate the relationship I have. I am giving Separations Games 4 Boundless Stars, I really enjoyed it.
