Lissa's Review: Cheater (Curious Liaisons #1) by Rachel Van Dyken

NARRATOR: Lucy Rivers & Alexander Cendese

RELEASED: February 28, 2017

GENRE: new adult, romantic comedy

LENGTH: 7 hours and 38 minutes

FORMAT: ebook, paperback, audible

Lucas Thorn wasn’t born a cheater. All it took was a single moment—say, a certain disastrous incident on the night before his wedding—and boom. Reputation destroyed forever and always. So now he owns it. He has a lady friend for every night of the week (except Sundays—God’s day and all), and his rules are simple: No commitments. No exceptions.

But a certain smart-mouthed, strawberry blonde vixen is about to blow that all to hell.

Avery Black has never forgiven Lucas for cheating on her sister. And suddenly being forced to work with him is pretty much a nightmare on steroids. Of course, it does afford her the opportunity to make his life as difficult as possible. But no good revenge scheme comes without payback. Because he didn’t become the Lucas Thorn without learning a few things about women.

Now Avery’s lust for vengeance has turned into, well, lust. And if Lucas stops cheating, it’s definitely not because he’s falling in love…

Lucas Thorn is a cheater, C H E A T E R. But is he really? maybe it was a misunderstanding on everyone's part.

Avery Black is the little sister of his Ex-Fianceè. Who just so happens to end up being an intern at his job. That’s when everything starts to get all crazy. This book is hilarious like laugh out loud hilarious. The banter and the witty comments make these characters great.

I actually feel bad for Lucas. Because when you really understand what was going through his mind 4 years ago. It’s not what it looked like. If only everyone in their family believed the same thing.

Van Dyken is an amazing writer, she holds the pen to writing Romantic Comedies like no one's business. I highly enjoyed this and I really loved the whole story. The narrators were great, even though when the male narrator would use a women voice (lol)

Overall, I give this Four Boundless Stars
