SYNOPSIS
She's hiding from the girl she once was. He's just trying to get through another day. Marley Fallon doesn't believe in attachments, not after her world was destroyed by those she trusted the most. She's put on a new face and is ready to bury the past. Nothing good can come from remembering the pain. What she doesn't count on is Wyatt Hensley. The silent stranger manages to get under her skin in ways she can't explain. Wyatt doesn't want anything to do with the mysterious new girl. He has bigger issues to worry about. However, you can't fight what's right in front of you. Wyatt and Marley find themselves sharing their deepest, darkest secrets. It's not long until they're immersed in the other's life and heart. But as soon as they find each other, they also find that forever isn't as long as they think.
TWO BOUNDLESS STARS
I voluntarily received a copy in exchange for an honest review.
I did want to like this story. We have Marley (Pagan) whose gone to live with her filthy rich grandparents. But still would like to hold a job (she doesn't need it). There we are introduced to Wyatt, who has no friends. An alcoholic mother and he takes care of his sisters. Suddenly they are attracted to each other. There's this instant connection with them but I didn't feel it.
The writing style is a bit over descriptive. Everything seemed to be in real detail, when I like less detail. I'd rather use my imagination. This was a struggle to get through. This is the authors first book and I see potential. I didn't believe Marley's character at all. For someone who wants to make money for herself, accepts a super expensive new car from her grandpa ? Why not get like a Toyota?
The ending was a shocking one and didn't see it coming. But I'm really unsure if I'll attempt the second. I think overall it was ok and it could have been better. Though, I know this was not for me. I think many will love this story.
