SYNOPSIS

Too Late is no longer available via Wattpad. Sloan will go through hell and back for her little brother. And she does, every single night. Forced to remain in a relationship with the dangerous and corrupt Asa Jackson, Sloan will do whatever it takes to make sure her brother has what he needs. Nothing will get in her way. Nothing except Carter. Sloan is the only good thing to ever happen to Asa. He knows this and he never plans on letting her go; even if she doesn't approve of his lifestyle. But despite Sloan's disapproval, Asa knows what it takes to get what he wants. He knows what he needs to do to remain on top. Nothing will get in his way. Nothing except Carter.

TWO BOUNDLESS STARS

I really wanted to love Too Late, but there was so much going on. That sometimes it was hard to really follow. It didn't suck me in. I didn't feel the emotional pull from Sloan or Luke. Now I do know that I hated Asa, total douche tool.

This is a lot darker than any of the books I've read from Hoover. She went out of her comfort zone and I can respect that. This is a pretty long story, at least it felt like it. I think it could have been cut down a bit and a little more structured. It felt almost like it wasn't complete. But I'm sure there's a reason for that.

It was very raw, very gut punching. There were some scenes that were hard to swallow. I'm not one to shy away from darker stories. I've read even darker ones. But I don't think it's my cup of tea. Hoover still knows what she's doing and her well-known writing style is still there. I still think anyone who loves her or who has never heard of her, should still read Too Late.

Overall, Two Boundless Stars. It was ok but could have been better
