SYNOPSIS

You’re not supposed to want the one who torments you. When my stepbrother, Elec, came to live with us my senior year, I wasn’t prepared for how much of a jerk he’d be. I hated that he took it out on me because he didn’t want to be here. I hated that he brought girls from our high school back to his room. But what I hated the most was the unwanted way my body reacted to him. At first, I thought all he had going for him were his rock-hard tattooed abs and chiseled face. Then, things started changing between us, and it all came to a head one night. Just as quickly as he’d come into my life, he was gone back to California. It had been years since I’d seen Elec. When tragedy struck our family, I’d have to face him again. And holy hell, the teenager who made me crazy was now a man that drove me insane. I had a feeling my heart was about to get broken again. Stepbrother Dearest is a standalone novel. **Contains graphic sexual content and harsh language. It is only appropriate for adult readers age 18+

FIVE BOUNDLESS STARS

I've had Stepbrother Dearest on my kindle for awhile. Oh since.. 2015. I was looking for an audiobook and it was only $1.99 for the add. So I thought what the heck?

You think Stepbrother and your like eww. But Elec didn't grow up with Greta. So it wasn't a big eww. Elec comes to live with his father while his mom goes off to another country for a job. He is very stand off-ish and wants to just be an absolute douche canoe to Greta. But there's something she see's in him, that no one else does.

This is a very steamy read. So not of the faint of heart. But it has so much depth. I found myself laughing, shocked, and crying listening to this. It had so much heart, it really had everything.

I highly enjoyed this, more than I thought I would. Ward's writing style and then Simone Lewis’s narration was perfect. I was able to connect with these characters and understand them. I wasn't so focused on the person narrating the story. It was brought to life with Simone’s voice.

When you first see a slightly taboo topic, some might shy away from it. But it’s so much more than that. I now wish I could pause every other book in line; so that I can read the rest of her books. This has to be on my 10 of Audiobooks. As well, will be one of my most favorite romances.

“Through death there was life, Through hate there was love..”

Overall, It’s Five Boundless Stars
