March Fellows assumed he had all the time in the galaxy to pursue a relationship with Jules, an alien exchange student from Xenia, until she vanished without a trace. After years of searching, he finds his lost love on the eve of her arranged marriage. The daughter of the Xenian emperor, Julietta never meant to fall in love with a Terran man while visiting Earth. Leaving to fulfill her responsibilities on her home planet opened up a hole in her heart that could never be filled. When March, now a cyborg, unexpectedly shows up just before she is to be bonded, she struggles to find the courage to turn him away a second time and follow through with her duty. Before she can act, the lovers are thrust into a political conspiracy that threatens the Xenian empire and their lives.
FIVE BOUNDLESS STARS
I voluntarily received a copy of Claimed by the Cyborg for an honest review.
This is a series that does not disappoint and each book I enjoy more and more. In Claimed we are introduced to March Fellows (love the name) who is on his own personal mission to find his long-lost love. He has searched for her for years without and luck and now he feels like this is his chance to find out why she left without so much as a goodbye.
Julietta has pined for Mach for years yet she has always placed duty first as her culture demands. So, she left her happiness to return to royal life, to prepare for her soon to be future. She is on the cusp of being Bonded to another so she can produce an heir and in a years’ time take the mantel of her planets sovereign and ruler. No pressure. Once Juliette sees March all bets are off and her feeling that she suppressed for years come rushing back.
This story had a little bit of everything, action, romance, mystery and suspense. Once I got going with the book I couldn’t put it down and stayed up way too late to finish. I love this series and can’t wait for the next!
