SYNOPSIS
Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day before her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon's last day in L.A. together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year. Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist. Can Ben's relationship with Fallon - and simultaneously his novel - be considered a love story if it ends in heartbreak?
five BOUNDLESS STARS
I do realize that’s been almost a year since November 9 came out. It’s been sitting on my kindle that long. Also, that it has over 8k reviews. So mine will probably be a little blimp on the radar in the book world.
Let me say this, this story of Fallon and Ben is so moving. It’s heartbreaking, full of love, and full of secrets. I loved the various twists. I loved the cameo’s from other characters. Hoover really is a master at her craft. The writing really kept me reading, I seriously didn’t realize it was the end, till the last page.
I probably shouldn’t of waited so long to read the book. Usually, the best ones are the ones you put off for a long period of time. I’m not going to give any of it away. I know some people, will write the whole story in their review. But I’m not gonna do that. I want readers to grab this book, know little about it. Just that it was amazing.
November 9, had this feeling about it. Maybe the word I’m looking for is timeless? it was a timeless, love story with a twist. That sounds like an excellent description. The End.
Overall, obviously it’s Five Boundless Stars.
