SYNOPSIS

Northwestern University senior Zoe Adams has spent her fifth incarnation on the run. Abused and abandoned by those she once trusted, Zoe turns her back on a duty her soul accepted lifetimes ago to focus on a music career in this one. Until her Gemini's untimely arrival forces Zoe to choose between a love she can't remember and a life she's always dreamed of. Cade Adams has waited twenty-one years to reclaim his beloved soul mate, but his elation is short lived. As Zoe struggles to let go of her human life, demons from Cade and Zoe's past threaten the Gemini, and they find themselves living on borrowed time. The Tree of Souls is empty, and only an Eternal Sacrifice can refill it. Is forgotten love worth dying for, or is five incarnations more than one soul can take? With more than just the fate of their reunion at stake, love becomes an Eternal Sacrifice Zoe and Cade may not escape.

FOUR BOUNDLESS STARS

Gemini, is an interesting take on myth and religion. Going in, I really didn't know what it was about. But I' am a Gemini, so of course I would want to read a book with my sign.

Zoe and Cade are destined to each other. Over lifetimes, over and over. Every reincarnation he is to find her and be united. Now, Zoe knows nothing about this. Who she was before. But little by little you learn that what's going on is a huge deal. Humanity is hanging in the balance! Yeah.. no pressure.

You can only imagine Zoe's reluctance, since she's had this idea of what she wanted her life to be and the freedom she desires. But it's all about sacrifices.

There's a lot, a lot of information being thrown at you in this story. It's not bad, but you had to really think about it. The writing was great. This is the first I've read of hers. So it kept my interest, into reading more.

There were some pretty intense moments. The sacrifices and the all over theme of the story, really held true.

Overall, this is a four star read for me. I didn't connect with the characters on a certain level. But the writing style and story I did enjoy.
