Follow the trials and tribulations of lovable Shelly, her mishaps and her laugh out loud escapades in this roller-coaster of a story. Three (2.5) Boundless Stars
Shelly is almost 30 and has her mind made up about her life. She is going to get married, have a happy family, and live happily ever after. She is right on track with this plan because her boyfriend is about to propose, until he doesn't. Instead he breaks up with her. Shelly begins slowly picking herself back up (after a very big breakdown) with the help of Colin and Alberto, her friends and coworkers. Along the way and through many funny schemes Shelly finds "the one" in the most unlikely of people. This book was okay. It was really funny, but at times it just kind of dragged on. It took almost half the book before Shelly decided to get over her ex and finally start trying to move on. This left the first half of the book mainly her complaining.
Honestly, it was a bit of a let down. Things did pick up though and I really did enjoy the rest of the book. I'm glad the book ended the way it did. It most definitely didn't end the way I expected it too.
