Synopsis

Seventeen is a life changing age for Emma Wise. As her family's sole survivor in a car crash, she is left with a broken arm and a few scrapes and bruises. But these are only outward marks; inside, her heart is broken and the pieces scattered. Whisked away to Alaska, to an aunt she’s never met, Emma starts over. Secrets unveil themselves and now…she doesn't even know who or what she is. A centuries old prophecy places Emma in the heart of danger. Creatures of horrifying and evil proportions are after her, and it will take Emma, her aunt, and six, gorgeously captivating Guardians to keep her safe. But, if she can survive until her eighteenth birthday... things will change.

Two Boundless Stars

Emma has lost her family. And has no idea now how she's going to live without them. She learns that she actually has a relative, that will take guardianship of her. Till she turns 18. But as things start to happen, she starts to realize that her life will never ever be the same. The seventeen year old, who was only worried about school and getting through her senior year. Now has to face evil, full of vengeance for her kind.

This was ok and I think in many ways it could've been better. It was tipping on the side of over descriptive and at times repetitive. It was also a little predictive. I don't like really being able to guess ahead of time, what is actually happening. I'm listening to this and I'm like duh? Emma you can't see what's in front of you. I got it before she came to the realization.

Emma, I'm unsure about. I like her well enough but she could be a bit annoying. What I did love is her relationship with Kade, it was believable though instant. The pull they had for each other was undeniable.

It had lots of action, adventure. Thrown in with a little mystery and a bit of romance. In all honesty, I'm unsure if I want to continue on with the story. The ending didn't lead to me wanting more.
