Synopsis

When a mysterious text message summons May Wexler to a biker bar in downtown New Orleans, she knows something is very wrong. Her sister has sent out an SOS, but when May gets there, she’s nowhere to be found and May is the one in trouble—she’s wearing pink espadrilles, she’s got a Chihuahua in her purse, and she’s in the middle of a shootout. After tall, muscular Ozzie comes to her rescue, May has no choice but to follow him to safety. At the headquarters of his private security firm, the Bourbon Street Boys, she finds a refuge for the night—and the offer of a job. But it’s not long before a gun-toting stalker isn’t the only complication in May’s life: the more time she spends with Ozzie, the less she can deny that they’ve got some serious chemistry. A wrong number got her into this mess…Will it also get her the right guy?

Five Boundless Stars

OMG! I can’t remember ever laughing so hard at a book. I’m talking, laughing so hard - I can’t catch my breath - gonna pee my pants - this is freaking hilarious - ROTFLOL!!! I had to play several scenes to the hubby, and even without him hearing the entire book, he was laughing also. The best thing was, the laughs started from the very beginning, and didn’t stop!

I’m think I stumbled upon Wrong Number, Right Guy on Facebook, at the time it was on Kindle Unlimited, and I thought why not. Lately, I’ve been in the mood to sit and color on my couch; I purchased an adult coloring book and everything. No judgment, it’s relaxing! So anyways, when I found the $1.99 audiobook upgrade, I jumped on that. Let me just say right here and now; I love that feature! So here I am sitting on my couch coloring away, with headphones on, since the hubby is watching TV, when all of a sudden I start laughing like a lune, and can’t stop! Let just say, I’m glad I wasn’t in public!

Emily Foster did a phenomenal job with the characters in this one! She brought Elle Casey’s pages to life, and made everyone so real, especially, May, oh man did I love May! Wrong Number, Right Guy was the first novel I’ve read/listened to by Elle Casey, and I will definitely be looking into more, I can’t wait for the 2nd novel in the Bourbon Street Boys series, I hope it’s as funny as the first!

Wrong Number, Right Guy was so perfect with so much humor, a bit of action, danger, and some romance thrown in. There is a female lead, May, that I LOVED, and don’t forget her hunk of a man, Ozzie, that I can’t give it anything but 5 Boundless stars, so funny it was perfect!
