This is the type of book that grabs you on page one and doesn't let you go. It is a book that will keep you up late at night and one that is hard to put down. There are so many individual characters and stories in this book that I thought I would get confused. This was not the case at all. It was very easy to follow and was written very well. This book made me laugh and made me happy while at times it had me bawling. It painted such a vivid picture. The characters were so real in my mind that I could feel the pain, the happiness, the anger. Not many books can completely grab a person, but this book did just that. The characters were all so real that you could just see them in your mind. I have to say Jade was by far my favorite of all the characters. She goes through so much that I can't even begin to imagine how she went on day to day. This book was happy and sad. It was filled with secrets and pain. It was filled with hope and love. This book was just great from the very first page to the very last.
