Gemma Carlson didn't plan on waking up married.

She also didn't count on running into her old flame—and her son's father-turned-country rock star—Travis Bowers, followed by a night of drunken dares. Apparently one of those involved a ring on her finger and a vow … neither of which she intends to keep. Now with a hangover from hell, this good-girl-gone-bad knows there's just one thing to do: run.

Travis has been all over the world, but Gemma has never been far from his thoughts. So when they had the chance to catch up over a few drinks, he didn't hesitate. Of course, he didn't expect it would lead to marriage, or a runaway bride! Travis finally has a second chance and doesn't plan on losing Gemma again—or the son he didn't know he had. He proposes, albeit belatedly, a date. Or rather, a few. If they can make this marriage work by starting over, he stays. If not …Gemma's not interested; she's got a son to protect and a heart to heal. But having Travis around could make both a little easier. Still, good girls don't date rock stars . . . right?

Five (4.5) Boundless Stars

Gemma has a secret. One that Travis the hunky rockstar from her past unaware of. After ten years Gemma is in Vegas for none other than The Lovers of Romance Convention and runs into the man that was really the only love of her life.

That's when her life seriously gets interesting and hot hot hot. She was practically a nun before. But like everything you can only hold a secret for so long.

Luckily, through everything she has her bff Gracie. She is upfront and does not hold anything back. Has no problem telling Gemma like it is. She also has the whole town and the support of all of them.

This was a great story, a lost love coming back and taking back what he lost. It's really about the mistakes. We make mistakes in life, sometimes we don't know exactly how to handle them. But when the time is right, it becomes what it's suppose to be.

I have a feeling I'm going really love this whole series. Their simple, sweet and Codi's writing I adore. I honestly, was never into this type of writing style. But it's hard not to fall right in to the Rock Canyon novels. I love this town, the characters and who is this gossip girl? Im really curious.. Do we find out? We shall see...
