Travelling with him to Chester to begin deciphering the clues, Lara realises that Will has attracted the attention of enemies who seem capable of anticipating their every move. Lara's only hope is to find what lies at the end of the trail. But Lara discovers she has made some powerful enemies of her own with a hidden agenda.. Three Boundless Stars

This is a very interesting read. The Gawain Legacy is definitely a book for history buffs. The plot reminds me of the Nicolas Cage movie, “National Treasure;” the same concept, only with the characters are seeking a “treasure” by analyzing a famous poem. There are also many more twists in this story, than National Treasure.

I love how Mackley introduced main characters with just enough to information to get the story going; we gain more information only as their pasts become relevant. The action is constant and the new characters are brought into the story smoothly throughout the journey.

The suspense kept me at the edge of my seat and I found it hard to put down, most of the time. There were a few parts where the math and history lessons lost my interest, but only for a very short time. But I do have to admit, my mind was blown at the end.

I highly recommend this book, especially to any history enthusiasts. I give The Gawain Legacy 3 stars, I liked it
