HER ALIEN SAVIOR

An alien soldier without emotions. Finn is three quarters Asazi and one quarter human. He's a lieutenant in the Asazi army and his desire is to be the best soldier he can. He's spent a lifetime denying his human side, only to find out that now it makes him key to a mission on Earth. A mission that includes Marissa Sanchez, Target 41, a determined, smart-mouthed spitfire that brings out emotions his Asazi nature rejects. A human woman with a target on her. Marissa's dream is to keep her restaurant from being seized by ruthless developers. She's broke, out of options, has a deadline, and a cheating ex who offers to marry her and solve her financial problems. Everything changes when a guy named Finn saves her life and provides a completely different kind of option.

HIS HUMAN HELLION

Emotions wreak havoc on an Asazi soldier when he discovers the human he loves is pregnant with the child that could kill her. Finn has a new mission. Save Marissa. Any way he can. That's no easy task when Marissa is the most stubborn, headstrong woman--correction--human he's ever met. A spitfire Texan finds herself in love with a man who isn't supposed to have emotions, and isn't even a man, except, he's more man than any man she's ever met before. And now she's pregnant with his child. A child that could kill her. Marissa jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire when she fell in love with Finn. Now he says the only way to save her life is to take her to his planet? I don't think so. This book is intended for mature readers.

18+ This book has explicit sexual content. Please do not read it if this sort of thing offends. Two Boundless Stars

I was provided a copy of Ultimate Passage Worlds Volume one via Net Galley. It is also available on Kindle Unlimited. The weirdest thing happened, Lissa told me "grab this book you'll like it", so I honestly didn't even really read the blurb I just requested it. Well a little ways into it I was like "wait a minute, I've read this before!" Sure enough a scout through my good reads account I read book 1 Her Alien Savior back in 2014. I gave it a 2. Unfortunately my opinion hasn't really changed. I was never able to fully connect with the characters. There are some parts of the story that are really exciting and the pace is high, then it just fizzles out. And honestly gets a bit boring. Book two started off better and I was really digging the direction we were headed. Even though Marrissa dose some asinine things, oh lordy. I still never connected with her character. But it was better until the entire Saraz story line started. It's not that I was confused, because I wasn't. I just didn't like how the book went from an alien book to something completely different (I won't spoil it). So unfortunately my original assessment of two stars from 2014 stands. It was OK but could have been better. I won't be reading book 3 and 4.
