I was provided a copy of Redemption River in exchange for a honest review. It is also currently available on Kindle Unlimited The book started out giving us the dossiers on each member of Task Force Scorpion. Because I don't like not understanding what I'm reading I had to ask what certain terms meant. Luckily I work with ex military so I had no issues. I could see this dissuading others. I didn't know what direct action was. I had to ask, I couldn't find the term on a Google search (but didn't look too hard). There is a lot of action and the plot is extremely interesting and relevant. However, it kind of reminded me of the movie Hard Rain. With all the action happening during a flood. I'm not sure why because they are completely different but, scenes from that movie kept coming to mind. There were some points that I found just silly. Like swimming in flood waters. Flood waters move so fast there is no swimming! But I liked most everything else. For a romantic suspense, it keeps the adrenaline flowing the sex hot and the men alpha and even hotter. This book gets a solid 3 it was good.
