Hayden William Nelson (Chris Helmsworth) - Youngest son of Will and Camilla Nelson, brother to Todd, Caleb and Nathan Nelson. Auburn hair, some freckles under his farmers tan and bright blue eyes. Life long best friend to Neely. As youngest kid of 4, he has the worst temper and can be selfish. Sometimes his stubborn streak is bigger than even Neely's but so is his heart.
Nathan Dean Nelson (Kellan Lutz) - Third son of Will and Camilla Nelson, also tallest and largest as a high school football player. Has a well earned rep as a man whore but he works hard to change after Neely's accident. Darker auburn hair than his brothers, but lighter eyes, a brilliant turquoise. Three years older than Hayden, he's working on his degree in accounting at the University of Southern MS.
Ivan Andrew Huckley Jr. (George Clooney) - Eldest son of Ivan and Margarette Huckley and native of New Zealand. Brother to Nicholas Alexander and Megan Rebecka Huckley. Golden blond hair, bronze skin, green eyes. Seriously damaged from a childhood growing up with Margarette for a parent. But solid despite all he's been through. He has taken the easy way in the beginning, but when the time comes to shine, he does in a big way.
Margarette Toia Huckley - Mother to Andrew, former Miss Universe, and complete narcissistic sociopath. Obsessed with power and reclaiming what she thinks has been taken from her family over many generations. Tall, statuesque beauty, posed and cultured, golden hair, bronze skin and piercing jade green eyes. Native of New Zealand and direct descendant of one of the sisters of Kaipara.
Masa Crendal - Andrew's biological father and leader of The Guard, son of his tribe's chief. Tall, covered The Guard's signature Ta Moka (traditional Māori tattoos) Black hair, dark brown eyes, bronze skin. Fiercely loyal. But Margarette is his weakness.
