Synopsis
She was a young black woman from Chicago, who was strong enough to overcome some mistakes, start over, and dare to dream. He was an established reporter from Texas, hungry to report news that changed lives. From the start, the chemistry between them is powerful and strong enough to unite them in a common purpose. Who knew their brainchild would play a part in the annihilation of a fifty year old child sex trafficking ring and both of them would have to revisit their hidden past to do it!
Three Boundless Stars
Honestly, at first the book was a bit hard to understand. It is set into so many different sections I got a little bit confused. As my reading continued I soon figured out the pattern and found the book to be interesting. It follows a woman as she sets out to marry a very powerful man. It also follows a young man who is from her past. Together with the help of her friends from her magazine, they find out out and end a child prostitution/ trafficking ring. I have to say that I was quickly swept up in this story and enjoyed the read, but the ending wasn't what I was expecting. It just kind of ended with no real finalization to any of the books details. Besides the ending, the story was a good read and was a very interesting and gripping tale of power, betrayal, and love.
