Synopsis

Throughout the history of mankind, people such as Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, and many biblical prophets, seers, and visionaries have guided humanity with what they claimed were insights into our future -- a look into the mind of God, our fate as a species, and maybe even our destruction. Little did Carol and Nick Cavelli know that they would be living in the times foretold, with war, paranoia, and nature itself raging across the planet. As the Cavellis and an eclectic cast of characters from around America all find themselves unknowingly guided to a single place -- and each other -- another set of individuals sees an opportunity for power... and death.

Review by Stormi

Honestly, I was a bit put off at first because you meet so many people from so many places in the first part of the book. I quickly picked up on the fact that they each played important roles in the book as a whole, so while at first I was a bit confused, I quickly began to enjoy the book. I was born and raised in the south and so a lot of what this book talks about really hit home for me. I was raised in the church and that being said I was raised hearing about the end of days. While I wouldn't call this a religious book, it did remind me greatly of the teachings of the bible. Its a story of fear, love, and hope for the future. This book was very well written, it really made me think and I guess with the way the world is now, that is good.
