Synopsis:

When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn't think it's love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her. Never ask about the past. Don’t expect a future. They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all. Hearts get infiltrated. Promises get broken. Rules get shattered. Love gets ugly.

Review by Lissa:

I'm on a Colleen kick right now. All I wanna do is read her books. This one by far I related to the most in some aspects. I like how you totally get into their heads, you don't really get it as deep as other books.

Tate's character, I felt I connected to instantly. There's always going to be that person that you passionately connect too. Even if you know it's a bad idea. I've made mistakes in my life and I knew they were mistakes. That they wouldn't end well. When you have a connection like that, it can be ugly.

Tate is still hopeful with Miles. Just doesn't know how tragic Miles really is. The realization of what actually happened to him is heartbreaking. You don't really get his point of view till much later. There's always layers under someone's heart. There's always something guarding it. You just to realize when to let it go. When to realize that someday you deserve to be happy.

"It's beautiful moments like these, that make up for the ugly love."

If you haven't read this one yet, you've really been missing out. Colleen tears at your heartstrings. This book made me cry, I probably looked ugly. But it also had the humor. What actually goes through a woman's mind, when she's in this complicated relationship with someone. There was no doubt that this was five stars. Go get it, you'll not regret it.
