BUY IT NOW Synopsis:

The climactic third novel in New York Times bestselling author Jeaniene Frost's Night Prince series finds Vlad and his newly turned bride, Leila, at odds with each other—and vulnerable to the one vampire powerful enough to end the Dark Prince's reign . . . Play with fire, pay the price Leila's years on the carnie circuit were certainly an education. What she didn't learn: how to be a vampire, or how to be married to the most famous vampire of them all. Adjusting to both has Leila teetering on a knife edge between passion and peril, and now the real danger is about to begin . . . Vlad must battle with a centuries-old enemy whose reach stretches across continents and whose strength equals his own. It isn't like Vlad to feel fear, but he does . . . for Leila, because his enemy knows she is Vlad's greatest weakness. As friend and foe alike align against him—and his overprotectiveness drives Leila away—Vlad's love for his new bride could be the very thing that dooms them both . . .

Review by Sara:

This isn't a stand alone novel you really need to read the first two in the series, Once Burned and Twice Tempted. I honestly would recommend reading the original Night Huntress Series that first introduced us to Vlad, because it is so absolutely awesome anyone who enjoys Urban Fantasy shouldn't miss it. The first book in that series is Halfway to the Grave. I digress, In Bound by Flames we are once again taken on a heart pounding adventure full of danger, torture, betrayal, love, family, fire and electricity. Vlad is such a ruthless vampire yet his main concern is Leila and all he wants to do is wrap her in cotton and keep her safe. Leila being independent her entire life of course is going to rebel against Vlad's overprotectiveness and the sparks literally fly. I have loved Vlad since the he was introduced in the Night Huntress Series. He is just so deliciously ruthless, yet charming at the same time. I think Leila is his perfect match with her spunk, strong will and soft heart. This is truly an exhilarating urban fantasy series, that I highly recommend.
